The dartalis Information Security Lifecycle is based on three phases: Plan, Design and Assess. Those three phases are coordinated by a Manage initiative and supported by a Train schema.
The Plan phase's goal is to build or reinforce the strong security foundations that, we believe, are required for an effective and efficient Security Initiative. Following the Plan phase, the Design phase will propose the secure architectures that incorporate the safeguards identified in the previous phase i.e. Plan.
The aim of the Assess phase is to confirm that the safeguards implemented during the Design phase operate as expected and mitigate the risks to the accepted level.

Finally, the aim of the Manage initiative is to provide the security officer with additional knowledge to effectively and efficiently manage the Information Security Lifecycle.
